The guys over at Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is launching a very interesting book honouring H.R.Giger's artwork. H.R.Giger's is a surrealist artist, painter and sculptor whose design work can be seen on science fiction classics such as Alien, Dune and Prometheus; and also his otherworldly cover artwork on  albums by Debbie Harry, Danzig and more. Written by Stanislav Grof. M.D., this 200 page book named Modern Consciousness Research and the Understanding of Art, including The Visionary World of H.R. Giger bridges the world of of healer’s insights and a artist’s visions. A must read for anyone interested in psychological interpretations of art.
